Hi, I'm Beth.  New to all this.  Been widowed for eight years.  I have a grown up family who I'm close to, but would like someone in my life for the occasional date, or phone call.  Just someone for me who's not part of family or girlfriends.

I'm happiest in company.  Never got used to being alone.  Living as I do in a village, there is always something to do, something to join etc.  I enjoy reading and films (favourite is the Mission Impossible franchise,  I've seen them all since Tom cruise looked just like a little boy up to date now he's nearly a pensioner!! Joke) Not so keen on eating out now, prefer a decent meal at home, especially nice if I have someone to cook for. I drive, and love a road trip. Travelled to various parts of the world in the past, but now would like to explore the UK more.
